I have spent the past 25 years attending events and collecting everyone from Muhammad Ali to several presidents. I have obtained thousands of signatures from all walks of fame. That they are inconsiderate and not actual fans. I am a fan of the work of people I collect, and I don't sell to make a living, only to pay for my own hobby. Many other collectors I feel lucky enough to call friends love the hobby in the same way.
3 years, 11 months agoI am a collector at heart and I do keep a majority of my items. I really only sell anything to make room for new items or to pay for a trip.
3 years, 11 months agoThere are way more people now than when I started, people seem less willing to sign and the quality of signatures has gone downhill. The amount of fakes on the market is staggering. Trust is the biggest factor in collecting these days.
