Sima\'s professional career extended for 16 seasons, and was interrupted in 1944โ45 by service in the United States Navy during World War II. Most of his career was spent in minor league baseball in the organizations of the New York Giants and Senators, where he toiled for eight seasons as a member of the Double-A Chattanooga Lookouts of the Southern Association.
