At age eighteen, Colomé signed with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays as an amateur free agent in March 2007. The Rays added him to their 40-man roster on November 18, 2011.\n', '

On March 24, 2014, Colomé was suspended 50 games for failing a random drug test. Colome ended the year 2-0 with a 2.66 ERA in 5 games, 3 of which were starts.
