In 2003–04, he posted averages of 4.2 points and 1.6 rebounds in 10 games for his first LBA season with Benetton. He made eight appearances in the EuroLeague, recording 2.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per outing. Incidentally, Bargnani faced his future team, the Toronto Raptors, on 20 October 2003 in a pre-season game at the Air Canada Centre.
