Cassevah began his professional career in 2005 with the AZL Angels. With them, he went 2-5 with a 5.40 ERA in 15 games (4 starts). He pitched for the Orem Owlz in 2006, going 2-5 with a 6.80 ERA in 16 games (10 starts).\n', '
He became a reliever in 2007 and performed well, going 2-1 with a 2.75 ERA in 24 combined relief appearances for the Orem Owlz and Cedar Rapids Kernels. In 2008, he went 2-3 with a 3.79 ERA in 44 relief appearances for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes. He went 3-7 with a 3.68 ERA in 57 relief appearances for the Arkansas Travelers in 2009.\n', '
