The series would win two Emmys and be recognized nationally for its positive message. In 2016, CE created the hit series, Flip My Florida Yard, a fun, fast-paced yard series designed to showcase Florida-friendly landscaping practices. In between TV series, Crawford Entertainment would produce over 20 specials and documentaries airing nationally on CBS, NBS, FOX, ABC, Discovery Network, Travel Channel, Destination America, and PBS. By this time, CE had worked with major outdoor brands and every major government organization, developing a reputation for producing quality Florida programming. National quality and local content became the company’s mantra as they continued looking for more series to develop. The company's next series, Protect Our Paradise, focuses on conservation issues facing Florida and is set for release in June 2023.
In the early 2000s, as Netflix and other large streaming channels began to disrupt the way content was distributed, it was clear the future of TV was forever changing. Crawford saw an opportunity to deliver content directly to their fans. With an existing library and a loyal following, CE would begin developing a streaming channel featuring Florida programming. Discover Florida Channel (DFC) was born.
