Wiseman was born in Burlington, Ontario. As a youth, he played in the 1995 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Wexford, Toronto.\n', '
Wiseman was drafted 246th overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Wiseman played nine NHL games in his career, scoring one goal and one assist for two points.[citation needed] Wiseman started his NHL career in the 2002โ03 season with the San Jose Sharks, appearing in four games.
