Charlene (French: Charlène [ʃaʁlɛn];[fn 1] born Charlene Lynette Wittstock, 25 January 1978) is a former Olympic swimmer and the Princess of Monaco as the wife and consort of Albert II, the reigning Prince of Monaco and head of the House of Grimaldi.
Charlene was born in Bulawayo, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). She relocated to South Africa in 1989.
