He was the drum technician on the 2000 album Drawing Black Lines by the American band Project 86. He also played drums for Bif Naked.
Crippin spent 13 years with Hedley and released 6 albums with the group. In 2018, it was reported that Crippin had been fired by the band in 2017.
Amidst the allegations against lead singer Jacob Hoggard from Hedley, Crippin spoke out against his former band mate.
