Cody Robert Simpson (born 11 January 1997) is an Australian singer, songwriter, dancer and actor. He owns a record label, Coast House Records. He formed a new band called Cody Simpson & The Tide, and issued their debut song, "Waiting For The Tide", releasing the song on his own label. In 2017, he signed with ICM Partners. He is now managed by Maverick Management company after parting ways with Scooter Braun.\n', '

Simpson was born on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia, to Brad and Angie Simpson. He has two younger siblings, Tom and Alli. Simpson has won two gold medals at the Queensland Swimming Championships. Simpson trained at the Miami Swimming Club under coach Ken Nixon.
