Colby Shane Cohen (born April 25, 1989) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman. He played in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche and was also part of the 2011 Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins. Cohen first played junior hockey with the Syracuse Stars in the Eastern Junior Hockey League and the Ontario Junior Hockey League in the 2004–05 season. As a high school sophomore, Colby committed a collegiate career with Boston University. Cohen began the 2006–07 season with the US National Development Team, before leaving, to join the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League.
