- Born April 10, 1982
While attending high school at The King\'s Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, Morton lettered in baseball and led the team with a .339 batting average, eight home runs, and 26 RBI as a senior. He was a two-time All-State honoree, a preseason Louisville Slugger/TPX High School All-American, and received an All-American honorable mention from Collegiate Baseball for his efforts.\n', '
On May 8, 2008, Morton singled in Atlanta to record his first Major League hit. On May 9, 2008 he was demoted to Double-A San Antonio.\n', '
