Derrick Joseph Chievous (born July 3, 1967) is a retired American professional basketball player who played the forward position, and played three seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) after being selected by the Houston Rockets in the first round (16th pick overall) of the 1988 NBA draft. Chievous played at Missouri from 1984-88 and led the Tigers to three NCAA Tournament appearances and a Big Eight regular-season and tournament title.\n', '
