Lutz was still a baby when his family moved to Germany. He had his first experience with the sport at 14, when his older brother took him to a training session of the Friedberg Braves, a team located in Friedberg (Hessen). Since then, Lutz has rapidly increased his skills, especially his powerful hitting that made him so successful.
