A 6โฒ9โณ forward from The Bronx, New York, Pinckney led regional eight-seed Villanova Wildcats to the NCAA title over the heavily favored Georgetown Hoyas in 1985. He was the recipient of the Tournament\'s Most Outstanding Player after registering 16 points and 6 rebounds in the 66โ64 victory, widely considered as one of the greatest NCAA tournament upsets of all time.
