Little is known about this player who appeared in three games for the Red Sox during the 1928 season. Moncewicz starred at Brockton High School and Boston College and later played semi-pro baseball in local teams. He went hitless in one at-bat (.000) in three games for Boston, two of them in pinch-running duties.\n', '
Following his baseball career, Moncewicz was named to the post of comptroller by Boston mayor Maurice J. Tobin in 1946, serving continuously until 1958, when he retired by health reasons. \n', '
