Henry Ward "Heinie" Beckendorf (June 15, 1884 – September 15, 1949) was a professional baseball catcher from 1903 to 1912. He played Major League Baseball for the Detroit Tigers in 1909 and 1910 and for the Washington Senators in 1910.\n', '
Beckendorf was born in 1884 in New York, New York. He played semi-professional baseball with the Williams Athletic Association in New York City and also played intercollegiate baseball for Everett College.\n', '
Beckendorf began his professional baseball career in 1903 with the Kingston Colonials of the Hudson River League. He played for Kingston from 1903 through the early part of the 1906 season. In 1905, he helped Kingston win the Hudson River League pennant.\n', '
