Howard Joseph Kendrick III (born July 12, 1983) is an American professional baseball second baseman and outfielder for the Washington Nationals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He previously played for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim from 2006 to 2014, Los Angeles Dodgers from 2015 to 2016, and the Philadelphia Phillies in 2017. In 2011, he appeared in the MLB All-Star Game. While primarily a second baseman throughout his career, he has also played first base and left field.\n', '
Kendrick attended West Nassau High School in Callahan, Florida. He tried out for several colleges but had no interest until he landed at St. John\'s River Community College (SJRCC) in Palatka, Florida, where he was named Conference Player of the Year.\n', '
