After going undrafted in the 1990 NBA Draft he was signed by the Phoenix Suns in September 1990; however, he only played 2 minutes in a solitary November 1990 appearance, scoring 4 points.\n', '
Released by the Suns, he moved to Puerto Rico to play in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He would play in the country for 15 seasons, including 11 consecutive seasons from 1990 to 2002, most notably for the Piratas de Quebradillas.
