Zucker played in the 2009 World Juniors and 2010 World Juniors for Team USA, coming in 5th place in 2009 and winning a gold medal in 2010. He was also a member of Team USA\'s bronze medal-winning team at the 2011 World Juniors. Playing for the University of Denver in 2010–11, he was the Western Collegiate Hockey Association Rookie of the Year.
