Jerry Dean Hinsley (born April 9, 1945) is an American former professional baseball player, a right-handed pitcher whose career extended from 1963 through 1971. He had two trials in Major League Baseball for the 1964 and 1967 New York Mets. Hinsley stood 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) tall and weighed 165 pounds (75 kg), and originally signed with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1963 out of high school in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
