He was drafted in the fifth round, 73rd overall, by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1977 NHL Amateur Draft. He played for the Providence College Friars for 4 seasons from 1975 to 1979 where he was a 2nd team All American in his senior season. He played in the National Hockey League with the Red Wings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames.\n', '
