Born in Pitman, New Jersey, Crispin starred as a 6-foot-0-inch (1.83 m), 185-pound (84 kg) point guard for Pitman High School, leading the Panthers to the New Jersey Group I state championship in 1997 while setting the Gloucester County\'s all-time scoring record for boys\' high school basketball (2,651 career points).\n', '
As a collegiate player, Crispin played college basketball at Pennsylvania State University alongside his brother, Jon. Crispin was part of the 2001 Penn State team that upset the national powerhouse North Carolina Tar Heels in the NCAA Division I Men\'s Basketball Tournament to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.\n', '
