Zeiler graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. His junior training was with Sioux City of the USHL and with the Pittsburgh Hornets AAA program. Prior to the NHL, he played college hockey at St. Lawrence.\n', '
