Joshua David Bard (born March 30, 1978) is an American former professional baseball catcher who is the bench coach for the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball (MLB). Bard was born in Ithaca, New York. His family moved to Elizabeth, Colorado, when he was an infant.[citation needed] He attended Cherry Creek High School in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
