Mark Robert Rypien (born October 2, 1962) is a former professional football quarterback. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL) in the 6th round of the 1986 NFL draft. He is the first Canadian-born quarterback to start in the NFL and win the Super Bowl MVP award, doing so in Super Bowl XXVI.\n', '
