Roy was drafted in the seventh round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, 215th overall, by the Edmonton Oilers. Most of Roy\'s professional career has been spent in the American Hockey League, with the Toronto and Edmonton Roadrunners, and the Hamilton Bulldogs, although he has also spent time in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers.\n', '
In the 2006–07 season, on January 10, 2007 while on a recall to the Oilers, Roy scored his first NHL goal against the San Jose Sharks.\n', '
On November 2, 2007, after only a few minutes into a game, Roy was checked into the boards by Nashville Predators forward Jordin Tootoo, forcing Roy to leave the game with a shoulder injury.\n', '
