He was signed as a free agent by the San Francisco Giants on April 5, 1991. He won the 1992 Willie Mac Award honoring his spirit and leadership.\n', '
He signed as a free agent by the Seattle Mariners on November 29, 1992. He was traded by the Seattle Mariners with Mike Hampton to the Houston Astros for Eric Anthony on December 10, 1993. While this was considered by many to be one of the best trades in Astros\' history (as Hampton became one of the franchise\'s best pitchers), Felder and Anthony would leave their respective teams after the 1994 season, with that being Felder\'s last Major League Baseball campaign.\n', '
