Patrick Beverley (born July 12, 1988) is an American professional basketball player who is currently a player for the Los Angeles Clippers. He played college basketball for Arkansas before spending three and half seasons overseas in Ukraine, Greece and Russia. In January 2013, he joined the Houston Rockets and quickly cemented himself as the team\'s starting point guard. In June 2017, he was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.\n', '
Beverley attended Waubonsie Valley High School in suburban Chicago, Illinois as a freshman before transferring to John Marshall Metropolitan High School. As a senior at John Marshall, he led the state in scoring (37.3 ppg) and was named Co-Player of the Year. He was also selected to play in the Roundball Classic on April 8, 2006, a national All-Star Game played at United Center in Chicago.\n', '
As a freshman at Arkansas in 2006โ07, Beverley averaged 13.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He was subsequently named Freshman of the Year by the SEC and Newcomer of the Year by the Associated Press. He also earned SEC All-Freshman Team and second-team All-SEC honors.\n', '
