He previous played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Mets, Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Francisco Giants, Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, and Boston Red Sox.\n', '
Davis began his career as a switch-hitter, but became a full-time right-handed hitter prior to the 2004 season. He also throws right-handed.\n', '
Davis was born in Norwich, Connecticut, on October 19, 1980. He played Little League Baseball in Willimantic, Connecticut, for the Willimantic Fire Fighters.
