Her father is of Russian Jewish descent and her mother is of mostly English and German ancestry. In 2012, she married fertility doctor Dr. Michael Glassner. On November 15, 2012, she gave birth to their first child, Sadie Edith. On November 18, 2016 she gave birth to their second child, Isla Rose.
