Millies was a catcher during six seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies, Washington Senators, and Brooklyn Dodgers between 1934 and 1941. In 246 games, he compiled a .243 batting average with 65 RBI.\n', '
Millies had a long career as a minor league manager following his major league career including a stint as the skipper of the Kinston Eagles of the Coastal Plain League.\n', '
