Harris played baseball at Slidell High School in Slidell, Louisiana. Harris then went on to play collegiate baseball for LSU. Harris has one older brother, Clay, and one younger brother, Dylan. Clay was an infielder also at LSU from 2002-2005. He would go on to play in the Philadelphia Phillies’ minor league system 2005-2008\n', '
