Van Dyke Parks announced he’d be having his “last hurrah” show in LA earlier this month and I desperately wanted him on my Smile LP who had everyone else already.
Hit up Christian about 2 weeks before the event and he took the consignment. Sent over a vis a vis market and asked if he can use it and send back.
Well the day came and he got it done perfectly! Even sent me a proof shot without asking for one plus he got Van Dyke Parks to sign with my pen and sent it back with the record.
